Our farm takes part in the development of biodynamic agriculture through the group
Grupo de Trabajo Biodinámico del Mediterráneo.
Biodynamic agriculture has an holistic vision of everything which includes man in nature and social and economical aspects in conection with the cosmos.

From the start (1997), the vines have been looked after the biodynamic way, (registered CT-0377-PE). The property is in D. O. of the Penedès.

The surroundings are very important in the sustainable development in agriculture.
We think it very important as farmers to preserve the surrounding countryside. It is our responsability to combine the two things, the surroundings and our economical activity.
For this reason we have entered in an agreement with la Fondation Territori i Paisatge, to give advice and help for the management of the forest.

We have a bio vegetable garden for our own use.

In cooperation with the group in defense of local vegetables (ADV - Gent del Camp) we participate with the selecting and preserving of old and autoctonous varieties and in this way we also help in the spreading and selling of these products in local markets and schools.

The field of cherry trees of half an acre are of 15 different varieties which ripen consecutively over the period , end of May to beginning of July.

Taking advantage of a field that is protected from the wind and is in the shade most of the day we have planted 50 trees of a variety called Hayward. L'Actinidia chinens is a climber which comes originally from China. New Zealanders have made this fruit known throughout the world calling it by the name of its national bird Kiwi.
